RIJEKA, city of maritime industry talents.

Popravak brodskih motora  is a leader in maintenance and repair of marine engines and engine control systems.

OUR HISTORY

PBM LLC was established in Rijeka, the largest port in Croatia, in 1995. Ever since, PBM has been continuously growing. In the 1999, PBM was the first among Croatian small companies to obtain the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate.

Our quality of service and focus on clients were soon recognized by Woodward, Inc. and in 2005, PBM became Woodward Authorized Service Facility. 

Aiming to support our clients wherever they may need us, we started our expansion on global market in 2010, with a workshop in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2013 came PBM Romania with workshop in Santierul Naval Constanta Shipyard, and in 2017, followed PBM Bulgaria with workshop in Odessos Shipyard in Varna. The global hot spot of maritime industry was a logical next move, so have established our workshop in Shanghai, China in 2019. To cover the focal point of European ship repair industry PBM Turkey was established in 2020 with a workshop in Tuzla. Baltics region shall be covered in 2021 from Klaipeda, Lithuania through our joint venture with Baltmarine Trading company, PBM Baltmarine LLC.

Health and Safety

We believe that protecting health and lives of all work process participants is of the paramount importance. Our people are trained and continuously taught to work in a safe way in order to minimize and possibly eliminate work-related death, injury and ill health. It all starts with clean and well-organized working environment and ends with strict following of safety procedures to protect all participants in the work process. Each employee is responsible to comply with the safety instructions, use personal protection equipment where required, and report any issues regarding safety instructions or protection measures.

Our people are submitted to regular medical checkups and examinations required for work in special conditions and our field teams are covered with international health insurance.

We always strive to create a hazard-free working environment.
